Hajjam receives permission to resume competition

Algerian international player, Jwan Hajjam, received good news after confirming his readiness to participate with Brighton in the upcoming match against Arsenal, scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, in the fifth round of the Premier League.

Hajjam had left Old Trafford during the second half of the match against Manchester United in the EFL Cup due to injury, raising concerns about his absence from the next game, especially with the national team's camp approaching.

However, Brighton's coach, Fabian Hurzeler, put an end to the speculation in his press conference regarding the Arsenal clash, confirming that the Algerian full-back is ready to face Arsenal, giving him the green light to return to competition.

Hajjam started for the first time this season against Manchester United and made an immediate impact by delivering an accurate long pass that was utilized by Charalampos Kostoulas to score Brighton's first goal, which paved the way for a comeback and a 3-2 victory.

Hajjam's readiness comes at a crucial time, as he will compete for a spot in Brighton's lineup against Arsenal before joining the national team, which Ibrahim Hamdani has called up for his first squad in preparation for the "CAN 2027" qualifiers.
