Hani Abou Rida, the president of the Egyptian Football Association, is attending the match between Trabzonspor and Gaziantep in the Turkish league, which will kick off at 3 PM Cairo time, to support Mohamed Salah, the star of Trabzon and captain of the Egyptian national team.

Ibrahim Haji Osmanoglu, the president of the Turkish Football Association, welcomed Hani Abou Rida, the president of the Egyptian Football Association and a member of the FIFA Council, on Saturday, as part of efforts to strengthen bilateral relations and enhance cooperation between the Egyptian and Turkish federations.
The meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation in various areas of football, exchange technical and administrative expertise, and develop programs for national team preparation, in addition to collaboration in refereeing, talent development, and the institutional framework of football.
An agreement was reached during the meeting to prepare a joint cooperation protocol between the Egyptian and Turkish federations, which includes the exchange of training camps for youth and junior national teams, as well as women's football teams, along with sharing expertise and organizing joint programs to improve the refereeing system, allowing both sides to benefit from available resources and expertise.
Both parties emphasized the importance of continued communication and coordination between the federations, which will help support and develop football in both countries and strengthen mutual sports relations in the upcoming phase.
