Hazem Emam: Leaving Sundowns benefits Zamalek and Pyramids is the strongest in the tournament.

Hazem Emam, the former star of Zamalek SC, stated that the exit of Mamelodi Sundowns from the CAF Champions League benefits Zamalek. He noted that the white team would have faced significant challenges in dealing with the South African team's playing style had they continued in the competition.

Emam added during his appearance on a program on ON Sport with journalist Ibrahim Abdel Jawad that Sundowns' exit opens a great opportunity for Zamalek to qualify for the CAF Champions League final, given the decline of one of the main competitors for the title, which boosts the white team's hopes of competing for the continental championship.

He also pointed out that Pyramids FC is the strongest team in the tournament from his perspective, but he believes that Zamalek can handle them better compared to Sundowns, due to the differences in playing styles between the two teams.
