Hossam Abdel-Meguid stirs Ludogorets with Ahmed Saad's "nuts"… Video

Hossam Abdel-Meguid, the defender for Bulgarian club Ludogorets, caught attention when he performed the song "Makasrat" by Ahmed Saad, surrounded by his teammates, in a scene that blended football and fun.

Hossam Abdel-Meguid was seen singing the lyrics of the popular song in a humorous moment with his friends at the Bulgarian club, bringing a joyful atmosphere to Ludogorets.

Hossam Abdel-Meguid moved to Ludogorets after his stint with Zamalek, marking a new chapter in his professional career outside the Egyptian league.

However, a dispute remains between Hossam Abdel-Meguid and his former club Zamalek, as he is demanding the collection of financial dues amounting to 800,000 Egyptian pounds.

Failure to Sign a Settlement

A source clarified that Hossam Abdel-Meguid's failure to sign a financial settlement upon leaving the club is the main reason behind the current dispute between the player and Zamalek's management. Hossam did not receive an official settlement confirming that he had received his financial dues or waived part of them when he left Zamalek, which has led to his ongoing demand for financial dues.

Details of the 800,000 Pounds Deduction

At the same time, a source from Zamalek explained that the 800,000 pounds is not overdue financial dues for the player, but rather represents a deduction made according to the team's regulations. A 10% deduction from the player's contract value is applied if the team does not win two or more titles in the season. Additionally, there is another clause related to bonuses for participating with the Egyptian national team, where the bonus is paid if the player exceeds 50% of international appearances, which applies to Hossam Abdel-Meguid, along with other deductions related to delays and fines for receiving colored cards during official matches.

Reason for the Dispute

The dispute stems from Hossam Abdel-Meguid sending an official notice to Zamalek demanding financial dues of approximately 800,000 pounds. He granted the club a 30-day deadline to pay the outstanding amount before taking legal action and filing an official complaint against the club, as the player insists on his financial rights.
