Hossam Ghaly, the former star of Al Ahly, indicated that the Red Devils delivered a better performance against Zamalek during the Cairo Derby in the sixth round of the Egyptian Premier League, noting that Al Ahly played well and succeeded in creating numerous chances and goals.
Ghaly stated in an interview with ON Sport that Al Ahly's performance showed significant improvement compared to previous periods, both in terms of playing style and chance creation, emphasizing the importance of maintaining this improvement in upcoming matches and not settling for a good performance in just one game.
The former star added that the team needs more clarity in its playing style to enable players to perform their roles more effectively, stressing that settling on a specific playing method will help Al Ahly deliver more consistent performances.

Ghaly pointed out some negative aspects that emerged during the match, most notably the overlapping movements of players at times, which reduces the spaces between them and negatively affects the fluidity of the attacking performance.
