Young defender Brad-Hamilton Mantsounga has reportedly decided to represent Gabon on the international stage. According to Le Journal du Football Gabonais, the player, who was trained at OGC Nice and has played in youth selections for Congo, is now considering joining the Panthers.
However, Mantsounga is familiar with the environment of the Red Devils. He notably participated in the 2023 U17 Africa Cup of Nations with Congo and was also called up for the U20 selection.
Born in France and yet to play an official match with a senior team, the defender remains eligible for a change of sporting nationality. His choice in favor of Gabon will therefore need to be officially confirmed.
