Kenyan Peter Kamaku: Will he bring good fortune to Al Ahly and have a single meeting with the Pharaohs stars before facing Angola?
The Egypt national team is set to face Angola tomorrow, Friday, at 10 PM at Cairo International Stadium, in the first round of the qualifiers for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations. The match will be officiated by Kenyan referee Peter Waweru Kamaku.
Kamaku has experience officiating matches involving Egyptian teams and clubs, having refereed 9 matches in Egyptian football without awarding a single penalty, while showing two red cards.
Kamaku with the Egypt National Team
The Kenyan referee has previously officiated one match for the Egypt national team, which was against Burkina Faso in June 2024, during the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
