Khaldoon Al Mubarak sends a message to City fans and expresses his confidence.

Khaldoon Al Mubarak, Chairman of Manchester City, has reaffirmed the club's confidence in its position regarding the alleged breaches of Premier League rules, emphasizing that the proceedings are not yet complete and that his commitment to proving the club's innocence remains unchanged.

Khaldoon Al Mubarak urged fans to refer to the club's statement issued on September 25, 2026, alongside its initial statement regarding the case in February 2023, saying that "every word is important and still holds true".
He added: "While some rushed to draw their conclusions, and with all the noise surrounding us, nothing has changed. We have faced challenges together before and overcome them."
He confirmed that the club will not give those seeking to undermine its progress the opportunity to do so, praising its supporters for their continued backing.
Manchester City, in its statement released on Friday, clarified that the Premier League proceedings are still ongoing, and that significant parts of it remain incomplete, with strict confidentiality still in place.
The club added that it has respected the proceedings for eight years, based on the understanding that the Board of the League and its executive leadership would act as an independent, neutral, and fair regulatory body, free from biased influences.
City reiterated its stance expressed in February 2023, when it voiced its astonishment at the allegations of breaches, despite what it described as extensive cooperation and the provision of large amounts of detailed documentation to the league.
The club welcomed the opportunity for the case to be presented to an independent committee to neutrally examine the evidence it claims supports its position and "is irrefutable", expressing its hope for a final resolution.
Al Mubarak concluded his message by referencing the upcoming matches against Liverpool at Anfield and Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League after the international break, considering them an opportunity to showcase the strength and unity of the Manchester City family.
In a message to the club's supporters following media reports published on Friday, Khaldoon Al Mubarak stated that the case has "a long way to go", and that the club's confidence and determination to prove its innocence have not changed since the proceedings began.
He added that he wishes to share information clarifying the reasons for this confidence, but the high level of confidentiality surrounding the legal proceedings and the club's commitment to respecting it prevents him from doing so at this time, noting that the message itself underwent several legal reviews before publication.
