Zamalek's first team coach, Moataz Jamal, will determine the status of Palestinian striker Oday Dabbagh regarding his inclusion in the starting lineup against Al Ahly during the final technical meeting with the players at the hotel before heading to Cairo International Stadium for the derby match.
The head coach is expected to decide during the meeting whether Dabbagh is ready to participate as a starter or will remain on the bench, depending on his health condition and ability to play, especially after suffering from a severe cold in recent days, although his chances of starting seem to be increasing.
The Zamalek medical staff has intensified efforts to prepare the Palestinian striker for the clash against Al Ahly, after he participated in part of the team's training yesterday, following his return from the Palestinian national team camp.
The coaching staff is awaiting the player's final status before the match, as Moataz Jamal hopes to utilize his abilities in this anticipated encounter, with the decision being made based on his condition in the hours leading up to the game.
The match between Zamalek and Al Ahly will take place at 8 PM today, Sunday, at Cairo International Stadium, as part of the sixth round of the Egyptian Premier League.
