Mohamed Biyad, a player for Zamalek's handball team, has agreed to transfer to Koper, the runner-up in the Slovenian league, starting from the 2027 season after his contract with Zamalek ends.
Biyad has excelled notably with Zamalek, especially during the World Handball Club Championship taking place in New Capital.
Zamalek's men's handball team is preparing to play the bronze medal match against the second-placed team from Group B at 5:30 PM this Thursday at the New Capital Club hall, as part of the World Handball Club Championship hosted by Egypt for the third consecutive edition.
This comes after Zamalek successfully defeated the Brazilian champion with a score of 28-27 in the final group stage match, securing second place in their group.
