Algeria's Mouloudia Clarifies Details on Jordanian Player Azzayza's Injury
The management of Mouloudia Alger has reassured its fans regarding the health condition of Jordanian international Ali Azzayza, who suffered an injury during the 2-0 victory over Ittihad Khenchela in the eighth round of the league.
The "Doyen" player left the field in the first half of the match last Saturday, affected by an injury resulting from a collision with Ittihad Khenchela goalkeeper, Osama Laitim.
In a statement published by the club's management, it was confirmed that Azzayza's knee injury is minor and does not require concern.
It was also clarified that the 22-year-old player's injury consists of a light bruise, and the decision to substitute him was made in consultation between the technical and medical staff as a precautionary measure.
Azzayza faced challenges in his early days with Mouloudia after joining on loan for one season from Kuwaiti club Kazma last summer.
However, he has started to gradually regain his form, proving himself in coach Khaled Ben Yahia's plans, providing 3 assists in 3 consecutive matches, the latest being an assist for the opening goal against Ittihad Khenchela, before he had to leave the field due to injury.
