The Algerian national under-17 team concluded its final training camp today, Saturday, at the regional technical center in Tlemcen, in preparation for the World Cup scheduled to take place in Qatar from November 19 to December 13.
During this camp, led by national coach Amine Ghimouz with the participation of 23 players, the team played three practice matches, achieving consecutive victories.
The team started their series of matches with a win against the U-20 team of Ain Temouchent, with a score of 4-1, followed by a significant victory over the senior team of Ittihad Tlemcen, winning 11-0, and concluded the camp with a third win against the U-20 team of Wydad Tlemcen, with a score of 4-3.
These matches provided an important opportunity for the coaching staff to assess the players' physical and technical readiness, test their individual and collective capabilities, and evaluate the level of cohesion within the team before finalizing the squad for the global event.
The national team will face a significant global challenge, having been drawn into Group 10 of the under-17 World Cup alongside the United States, Chile, and Montenegro.
The young Greens aim to deliver a commendable performance in the Qatar World Cup and represent the national colors honorably in this global event.
