Hani Al-Najdi, the director of the men's first-handball team at Al Ahly Club, confirmed that he will hold a meeting today to make necessary adjustments to the schedule of the African Handball Club Championship taking place in Angola.
Al-Najdi also announced the cancellation of the team's match against Angolan club Interclube, which was scheduled to take place at 4 PM at the Kilamba Arena.
Al-Najdi explained that all teams have been informed of a new technical meeting at 4 PM today to discuss updates and determine the new format of the tournament schedule, following the withdrawal of two teams this morning.
The team director noted that the meeting may include new adjustments to the tournament system and groups, based on the number of participating teams after the recent withdrawals.
