Himad Abdelli continues his impressive run with Marseille. Once again on the scoresheet, the Algerian international contributed to another triumph for OM, while Amine Gouiri also shone with an assist.
Himad Abdelli remains in great form with Olympique de Marseille. After scoring in the last match against Angers, his former club, the Algerian international found the net again this Sunday against Le Havre in a thrilling match, ultimately won 4-3 by OM.
His goal rewarded his positioning sense. Following a scramble in the box and a poorly handled cross by the Le Havre defense, the ball remained in play in a dangerous area. Abdelli perfectly anticipated the situation, seized the opportunity, and delivered a superb strike that surprised the goalkeeper in the penalty area.
This latest achievement highlights his rise in form over the past few weeks. After scoring against Angers without celebrating, out of respect for his former club, Abdelli has now scored in two consecutive matches. His compatriot Amine Gouiri was also decisive in this match, providing an assist, confirming a great evening for the Algerian internationals in the Marseille jersey.
This victory allows Marseille to continue their climb. With 12 points, OM now occupies 8th place in Ligue 1 and records a second consecutive victory in the league. A positive streak to which Abdelli is directly contributing, while Gouiri also continues to aid the team's success.
