Paco Jémez requests another chance with Raja Casablanca

The management of Raja Club Athletic is leaning towards giving Spanish coach Paco Jémez another chance to continue leading the Green Team, after his future was a topic of discussion during a meeting held between the parties on Thursday, due to recent results.

Sources told "Hesport" that Jémez expressed his commitment during the meeting to continue his journey with the club, emphasizing his readiness to improve performance and correct the mistakes that have affected the team's performance in recent times, rather than ending his association with the club at this moment.

According to the same source, the Spanish coach requested from the club officials one last opportunity to set things right, amid discussions held by the management regarding his future, following the draw with Hassania Agadir, which ended 1-1, in the postponed match from the fifth round of the professional league.

This move comes alongside Raja Club Athletic's announcement on Friday that they have officially contracted national coach Abdelkarim Al-Jinani to be an assistant coach within the technical staff led by Jémez, in a step aimed at strengthening the team's technical structure in the upcoming phase.

The club's management had discussed with the Spanish coach the possibility of terminating the contract, but the recent meeting revealed Jémez's desire to continue and his eagerness to get an additional chance to correct the team's course and regain positive results.

Jémez will face a crucial test next Sunday when Raja Club Athletic takes on RS Berkane in the sixth round of the professional league, in a match that holds special importance for the Spanish coach's future and his ability to overcome this current phase.
