South African coach Rulani Mokwena discussed the challenge of lacking fan support that he faced before taking over at Pyramids FC, noting that increasing the fan base depends on good performances, winning trophies, and making a strong showing in African competitions.
Mokwena explained at the press conference that he encountered the same challenge when he was coaching South Africa's Mamelodi Sundowns, which also lacks a large fan base. He emphasized that teams can attract more supporters by delivering impressive results and achievements on the pitch.
The Pyramids coach added that the club's management is making significant efforts to grow the fan base and is continuously working to expand the team's supporters.
Mokwena: I am working on developing all Pyramids players
Mokwena confirmed that the Pyramids players recognize his honesty and clarity in dealing with them, stressing that the coaching staff's goal is not limited to developing a specific group of players but extends to improving all team members and elevating their technical levels.
