Statistics from the season show that Yan Diomandé outperforms Vinicius Junior in two offensive areas at Real Madrid.
According to the Spanish newspaper AS, the Ivorian forward is more prolific in front of goal and completes a greater number of dribbles per 90 minutes than his Brazilian counterpart.
In terms of finishing, Diomandé has scored three goals from 13 shots, while Vinicius Jr has found the net only once in 28 attempts. This gap highlights a better conversion rate for the Ivorian striker during this period.
The observation is similar regarding individual duels. Diomandé averages 5.11 successful dribbles per 90 minutes, compared to 2.99 for the Brazilian. These two indicators emphasize the offensive contribution of the Ivorian player, although they do not fully capture the impact of both players on the Madrid team's play.
Real Madrid is now preparing to face FC Barcelona for the Liga Clasico this Sunday evening.
