Jamal Sgati: “I dedicate my world title to the Algerian people and President Tebboune”
Algerian champion Jamal Sgati expressed his immense joy after winning the world elite title in the 800 meters in Budapest, Hungary.
Sgati stated in a post-victory interview: “Thank God, today I managed to win the world elite title held in Budapest for the first time in my career, and I dedicate this success to the Algerian people and President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.”
The Algerian champion added: “The success was not easy; it was achieved after overcoming significant obstacles and making many sacrifices. I thank my coach who devised a plan to achieve victory at the world championship.”
Sgati concluded his remarks with words reflecting his pride in representing Algeria, saying: “One, two, three, long live Algeria, glory and eternal memory to our martyrs.”
