The Egyptian Basketball Federation, led by Amr Mosilhi, announced the formation of the new coaching staff for the U16 national team as part of its plan to strengthen youth teams and prepare a new generation capable of competing in upcoming challenges.

Soli Appointed Head Coach
The federation has decided to appoint Mohamed Selim "Soli" as the head coach of the U16 national team to lead the next phase and work on preparing the players both technically and physically, in line with the federation's vision to build a strong foundation for national teams.
The new coaching staff includes Mohamed Ashraf Tawfiq and Moamen Abou El Enein as coaches, while Ibrahim Abou Khadra will take on the role of performance developer, aiming to enhance the technical and physical aspects of the players and improve their levels.
The new coaching staff is expected to begin its duties in the coming period by monitoring standout players in various tournaments and establishing a special preparation program for the team in anticipation of upcoming official competitions.
The formation of the coaching staff aligns with the Egyptian Basketball Federation's focus on youth age categories, aiming to develop the working mechanism with young players to ensure a continuous flow of new talent to the senior teams in the future.
