The Disciplinary Committee of the Professional Football League has imposed a strict penalty on the captain of CS Constantine, Ibrahim Dhib, suspending him for 8 matches.
Dhib's suspension follows his red card during the match against ES Sétif on September 19, which took place in the second round of the professional league.
The league stated on its official website that the player admitted during a hearing last Thursday, acknowledging the facts attributed to him before requesting leniency.
It confirmed that Dhib was sent off for attempting to assault the referee, followed by insults, and for refusing to comply with the red card decision.
The disciplinary body also fined him 50 million centimes, with the penalty taking effect from the date of his temporary suspension on September 21, 2026.
Lamouchia suspended for two matches and another warning issued to JS Saoura player Haddouch
In a related matter, the Disciplinary Committee decided to suspend the assistant coach of CR Belouizdad, Khaled Lamouchia, for two matches following his red card during the match against Olympique de Akbou on September 19, which was also in the second round.
The committee clarified that Lamouchia, after appearing before them, admitted to entering the pitch at the end of the first half to protest against the referee.
As a result, he was suspended for two matches and fined 20 million centimes, with the penalty effective from the date of his temporary suspension on September 21.
In another case, the committee issued a second and final summons to JS Saoura player Elias Faisal Haddouch regarding the match between Jeunesse d'El-Biar and Saoura, which took place on September 18 in the second round, where he will appear before the committee in the session specified in the summons before a final decision is made regarding him.
