The FIFA camp for female referees has started at the National Teams Center.

The FIFA training camp for female football referees began today, Sunday, under the supervision of FIFA and in collaboration with the Egyptian Football Association. The camp includes 40 referees from all regional areas and will continue at the National Teams Center of the Egyptian Football Association until Thursday, February 5.

Issam Abdel Fattah Leads the Camp

Issam Abdel Fattah, a certified instructor from both the African and international football federations and head of the main referees committee of the Egyptian Football Association, will lead the training sessions. He will be joined by Tunisian Marwa Al-Hanashi, a fitness coach for both federations, along with the presence of the main referees committee.

The camp activities include high-quality educational and technical lectures, covering some amendments and clarifications to the football laws issued by FIFA.

The camp also includes a technical and training program aimed at enhancing the referees' efficiency and developing their skills, preparing them to handle various officiating situations during matches.

Advanced physical training sessions will also take place on the field, following a modern training program aimed at improving physical fitness. This will include scenarios with amateur players and how to make quick, correct officiating decisions for each situation, as well as addressing any mistakes that may be made by the referees.

The referees committee will regularly monitor the performance of the candidates by evaluating their levels in the matches they officiate and identifying officiating errors to work on correcting them.

The development plan also includes holding regular camps during each break period, featuring technical and theoretical lectures as well as practical training, aimed at tracking the referees' progress and assessing their readiness.

The committee aims to prepare the group comprehensively, paving the way for new candidates to have the opportunity to officiate in the Premier League matches.

These efforts are part of the Egyptian Football Association's strategy to develop the refereeing system, raise the technical level of referees, and prepare new cadres capable of managing local matches in the coming years.
