The Competitions Committee of the Egyptian Football Association has decided to impose suspensions on Ahmed Abdelrahim Rashad, the coach, and players Basant Abdel Aziz Mohamed, Widad Hosni El Sayed, Hanaa Medhat El Sayed, Alia Ezzedine Ahmed, and Tetteh Eugeniy from Wadi Degla, following the events of the match between Al-Zohour Youth Center and Wadi Degla that took place on October 23, 2026, in the Women's Premier League. They have been referred to the Disciplinary Committee of the federation.
The committee also suspended the activities of Nihad Mohamedy Abdel Halim, the head coach, Salah El Din Mohamed El Ghayati, the sector manager at the center, and Yaqout Farouk Hassan, the goalkeeping coach from Al-Zohour Youth Center, and referred them to the Disciplinary Committee of the federation.
