Algeria's Mouloudia Club continued its unbeaten run in the current 2026-2027 football season, securing a victory today, Saturday, against visiting Ittihad Khencela.
The "Doyen" clinched the match, part of the 8th round of the professional league, with a comfortable 2-0 win, with goals from defender Ayyoub Ghazala in the 2nd minute and substitute forward Soufiane Baïzid in the 67th minute.
With this victory, the three-time defending champions of Algeria climbed to fourth place with 13 points, from 4 wins and 1 draw, while having 3 matches postponed, just one point behind the second-placed duo of CR Belouizdad and MC Oran, and 3 points behind leaders JS Kabylie.
It is worth noting that JS Kabylie has a postponed match directly against Mouloudia Club in the second round. Meanwhile, the "Hamri" side also has a postponed match against the "Doyen" to open the season.
On the other hand, CR Belouizdad is expected to play its match against JS Saoura on Monday, in addition to a postponed match from the sixth round against Olympique Akbou.
