Handball officials, led by Khaled Fathi, are looking to adjust the timing of the semifinals and finals of the men's local Super Cup, given the declining chances of holding the final abroad, as was the case in previous seasons when it was organized in the United Arab Emirates.
The Handball Federation is expected to announce the final decision during the upcoming board meeting, where the competition will be scheduled for November 12 and 14 at the Hassan Mostafa Hall.
The Egyptian Handball Federation had previously announced the dates for the semifinals of the Egyptian Super Cup for the 2025/2026 sports season in an official letter addressed to the executive directors of Al Ahly, Zamalek, Smouha, and Olympic clubs.
Friday, October 30, 2026, was set for the matches at Dr. Hassan Mostafa Hall, where the first match will see Al Ahly face Smouha at 6 PM, while the second match will feature Zamalek against the Olympic team at 8 PM. However, the new dates will be revealed later.
