Handball Federation officials, led by Khaled Fathi, will hold a meeting next Wednesday to finalize the situation regarding the semifinals and finals of the men's local Super Cup. The chances of hosting the final abroad, as in previous seasons when it was held in the United Arab Emirates, have diminished.
The Handball Federation is expected to announce the final decision at the upcoming board meeting, where the competition dates will be set for November 12 and 14 at the Hassan Mostafa Hall.
The Egyptian Handball Federation previously announced the dates for the semifinals of the Egyptian Super Cup for the 2025/2026 sports season in an official letter addressed to the executive directors of Al Ahly, Zamalek, Smouha, and Al Olimpi.
The matches are scheduled for Friday, October 30, 2026, at Dr. Hassan Mostafa Hall. The first match will feature Al Ahly against Smouha at 6 PM, while the second match will see Zamalek face Al Olimpi at 8 PM. However, new dates will be announced later.
