Algeria's Volleyball Team Ends Arab Championship with a Loss

The national under-21 volleyball team concluded its participation in the 24th Arab Championship, held in Jordan from October 4 to 15, with a loss to the Saudi team.

The young "Greens" suffered a defeat on Wednesday, losing three sets to none in the fifth and final round of the Arab competition.

The three sets were closely contested, with the Saudi team taking the first set 25-21, the second 25-23, and finishing the match with a 25-22 win in the third set.

The young "Greens" began their campaign with a loss to Oman, three sets to one, before bouncing back with victories over Kuwait and Jordan. However, they faced another defeat against Bahrain, losing three sets to none last Tuesday, concluding the competition with a third loss against Saudi Arabia.

The championship was held in a single round-robin format after the withdrawal of the teams from Egypt, Tunisia, and Palestine, with the title awarded to the team that accumulates the most points and finishes at the top of the final standings.
