The President of the Handball Federation congratulates the Egyptian junior national team after their third victory in Europe at the World Championship.

Khaled Fathy, the president of the Egyptian Handball Federation, reached out to Mohamed Gamal Halil, the federation's treasurer and head of the girls' national team delegation in Morocco, to congratulate the players on their valuable victory over Switzerland, winning 29-28 in the Under-16 World Championship. He praised the high fighting spirit of the players and their dedication throughout the match, as well as the outstanding performance of the coaching staff.

Fathy emphasized that the success of the Egyptian girls in defeating the Swiss team, which ranks third in Europe, in their first international experience, is a strong indication that Egypt has a promising generation of players capable of fulfilling the ambitions of Egyptian handball in the future.

The handball president explained that this victory carries double significance, especially since the players are still in the early stages of preparation and are participating in their first international tournament of this magnitude, which presents new challenges, pressures, and experiences.

He added that the team's performance has shown noticeable improvement as they settled into the tournament atmosphere, and the players' initial apprehension gradually faded despite their young ages. This was clearly reflected in their performance against Switzerland, showcasing their ability to handle major matches with confidence and fighting spirit.

Fathy stressed that the federation prioritizes the development of youth teams, considering them the future of Egyptian handball. He affirmed that gaining international experience at this age is a vital step in building a generation capable of continuing the path of achievements and raising Egypt's profile in global competitions.
