Our national team under 2009 concluded its training this evening at Hamad Al-Khalifa Stadium in Doha, in preparation for the upcoming match against Kuwait, scheduled for next Tuesday in the second round of the Gulf Cup.
The training included recovery exercises for the players under the supervision of Dr. Amr Taha, head of the medical staff, with the participation of Dr. Mohamed El-Shishtawy, a physiotherapy consultant, aimed at relieving the players from the physical exertion they experienced in the match against Saudi Arabia and preparing them for the next encounter against Kuwait.
Head coach Hussein Abdel-Latif urged the players to forget the victory over Saudi Arabia and focus on the upcoming match, aiming for a second consecutive win and to continue their strong performance in the tournament.
Dr. Walid Darwish, a member of the Egyptian Football Association's board and supervisor of the team, as well as head of the delegation in Qatar, made sure to monitor the team's preparations and provide a suitable environment for the coaching staff and players to maintain positive results in the tournament.
The team began its campaign in the tournament with a crushing victory over Saudi Arabia, winning 5-0, earning its first three points in Group B, which boosts its hopes of qualifying for the next stage.
