National U19 Badminton Team Reaches African Championship Semifinals
The national badminton team for players under 19 has secured its place in the semifinals of the African Championship taking place in Cairo, Egypt.
The qualification of the "Greens" came after their victory over the Ugandan team with a score of 2-0 in the quarterfinal match.
Thus, they continue their steady progress in the mixed team competitions, which are held from September 27 to 29, before moving on to the individual competitions starting from September 30 to October 3.
The national team is represented by 12 athletes (6 males and 6 females), with the competitions taking place in the "Covered Halls Complex" at Cairo International Stadium.
