From October 10 to 24, 2026, Yaoundé will host the UNIFFAC (Union of Central African Federations) U20 tournament 2026. This event carries dual significance: crowning the Central African champion and securing valuable qualification spots for the U20 Africa Cup of Nations.
UNIFFAC is one of the six zones within the African Football Confederation (CAF) and consists of eight countries: Cameroon, Congo, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of Congo, Chad, and São Tomé and Príncipe. Its mission is to foster grassroots football development and organize sub-regional competitions.
The 2026 edition is critically important as it will serve as the qualifying round for the upcoming U20 Africa Cup of Nations. Each match will essentially be a final.
