After shining with Trabzonspor by scoring a hat-trick against Galatasaray, Mohamed Salah is facing legal complications in England.
The Egyptian forward has received a six-month driving ban following an incident from last March.
His Rolls-Royce Spectre was photographed traveling at 36 mph (58 km/h) in a zone where the limit was 30 mph (48 km/h) in Wilmslow, Cheshire. Authorities then requested the player to identify the driver of the vehicle, a request he did not respond to.
Judged in absentia, Salah was found guilty of failing to provide the necessary information to identify the driver. He will also have to pay a fine of £1,044 along with costs. The speeding offense, however, did not result in a conviction.
