Paris FC continued their strong form with a 2-1 victory over Strasbourg on Saturday during the fifth round of Ligue 1. Starting the match, Ilan Kebbal played a key role in his team's win by scoring the opening goal in the 18th minute.
Active from the first whistle, the Algerian attacking midfielder capitalized on a poor clearance from Strasbourg to seize the ball in the danger zone. After a quick exchange with Lassine Sinayoko, Kebbal found himself in an ideal position at the edge of the box and skillfully lobbed the opposing goalkeeper with a perfectly placed left-footed shot.
This first goal rewarded Paris FC's dominance, particularly effective in the first half. The Parisians continued to apply pressure on Strasbourg before doubling their lead in the 57th minute through Pablo Pagis, who scored with a stunning half-volley.
Strasbourg pulled one back late in the match, in the 88th minute, with an own goal from Moustapha Mbow. However, Paris FC held firm until the final whistle to secure another victory.
With this win, the Parisian club remains unbeaten after five matches and temporarily sits in second place in Ligue 1. This collective performance was bolstered by Ilan Kebbal's goal and his offensive contributions.
