On Tuesday evening, Borussia Dortmund managed a serious performance away at Sabah, winning narrowly 2-1 in the third round of the group stage of the Champions League.
Led by a brilliant S. Guirassy, the Germans quickly took the lead in the 10th minute.
Although Sabah found a way to respond before halftime through Aden Mccar (39th), Guirassy stepped up as the hero, restoring his team's advantage shortly after the break (53rd), perfectly assisted by Joey Veerman.
With this hard-fought victory, the Ruhr club strengthens its ambitions on the European stage, while Sabah may have regrets after bravely challenging a giant of the competition.
