Union Algerienne's opponent in the Confederation Cup announces its withdrawal from the tournament.

Guinean club The Panthers announced their withdrawal from the competition as they prepare to face CR Belouizdad in the second preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup.

On Sunday, the management of The Panthers released a statement confirming the team's decision to withdraw from the tournament.

Club officials explained that the reason for this decision is the financial crises currently facing the club.
