Women's Super Cup: Akbou regains the advantage over JSK! (video)
Akbou Football Club triumphed in the 2026 Algerian Women's Super Cup on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at their home ground.
The Akbou players dominated JS Kabylie with a decisive score of 4-0 at the Martyrs Stadium in Akbou, marking their 38th title since the team's founding 16 years ago.
Aïcha Hamideche opened the scoring in the 12th minute, followed by Ghania Ayadi, who doubled the lead in the 28th minute, making it 2-0 at halftime. After the break, Ayadi scored her second goal in the 88th minute. Substitute Ghorfati Fatiha found the net in the 90’+2 minute, sealing the victory with a final score of 4-0.
Champions of Algeria for the third consecutive time, the players of CF Akbou faced intense challenges this season from JS Kabylie, a promoted and promising team that has won the Algerian Cup twice in a row.
