The 2026 World Cup had a significant impact on Ayyoub Bouaddi. At just 18 years old, the Moroccan midfielder from Manchester City experienced his first World Cup with the Atlas Lions.

He describes this adventure as the most beautiful memory of his career and hopes to relive it in 2030, during the tournament co-hosted by Morocco, Spain, and Portugal.

In the show "Uncut," produced by the Premier League and EA SPORTS FC, the young international shared what makes this competition so unique in his eyes. Despite his experiences in the Champions League with Lille and Manchester City, he feels that wearing his country's colors brings a distinct emotion.

“The smiles, the love, and the pride of an entire nation… It’s the most beautiful experience of my life”, he stated.

Bouaddi now wishes to return to the World Cup fields in 2030 with the Moroccan team. He also aspires to give back to the supporters a part of what they have given him. In the 2026 edition, he played five matches against Brazil, Scotland, the Netherlands, Canada, and France.
