The free agent market could provide Ajax Amsterdam with the opportunity to pull off another coup. According to De Telegraaf, the Dutch club is considering signing Yves Bissouma, who is now a free agent after his contract with Tottenham ended.

At 30 years old, the Malian international boasts solid experience at the highest level, having played for Lille, Brighton, and Tottenham. His arrival would give Ajax an additional option in midfield.

Jordi Cruyff is reportedly particularly in favor of this move. However, Amsterdam will need to convince the player amid competition from several European teams.

Following the signings of Marcos Leonardo, Viktor Tsygankov, Sofyan Amrabat, and Marc-André ter Stegen, Ajax could continue its ambitious transfer campaign with the addition of Bissouma.
