Zed: We will face Zamalek with our starting lineup, and our ambition is to compete in the Cairo Capital Cup.
A source from Zed Club revealed that the team is preparing to face Zamalek in the Cairo Capital Cup with a strong lineup featuring key players. The coaching staff is treating the match with great seriousness, given the team's desire to compete and achieve a positive result.
The source explained that Zed will enter the match with a starting lineup, as the coaching staff aims to benefit from the encounter both technically and by securing a win to continue competing in the tournament. The team is focusing on its performance on the pitch rather than the names Zamalek will rely on.
The match will be a big challenge for Zed
The source added that the encounter will not be easy for Zed, even though Zamalek may field several young players. He emphasized that Zamalek's name and history require any opponent to show great respect, making it difficult to face the white team regardless of the players involved.
The source confirmed that Zed aims to approach the match with full concentration, not giving the opponent any advantage, while also seeking to use the encounter to test the players' readiness and achieve the team's goal of competing for the title.
Zamalek enters a new match when they meet Zed at 8 PM today, Wednesday, at the Arab Contractors Stadium, in a game that marks the opening of both teams' campaigns in the Cairo Capital Cup, with each team looking to secure a strong start and collect the first three points of the tournament.
