ZED secured a thrilling victory over Al Qanah with a score of 2-1 in a match held on Thursday evening at Cairo International Stadium, as part of the fifth round of the Egyptian Premier League.
ZED opened the scoring through Ahmed Atef in the 49th minute with a stunning shot that found the back of the net. Mohamed Hamdy Zaki equalized for Al Qanah in the 83rd minute from a penalty, before Mohamed Hussein netted the winning goal for ZED in the 90+4 minute.

With this result, ZED's points tally increased to 7 from 5 matches, placing them in 10th position in the Egyptian Premier League table, while Al Qanah remains at 6 points in 11th place.
The first half witnessed an exciting event, as Mohamed Shawky, the head coach of ZED, was sent off in the 15th minute after receiving two yellow cards for protesting the referee's decisions. Additionally, Ahmed Al Saghiri, a player for ZED, suffered a serious injury in the 23rd minute and left the field in tears.
