In his first match with his new team, young Algerian international Badredine Bouanani quickly proved he did not come to Scotland to be a mere spectator. In his clash against St. Mirren, the player showcased several qualities that particularly impressed Rangers supporters.

Bouanani made his debut on Wednesday night with Glasgow Rangers during the sixth round of the Scottish Premiership. Starting from the beginning, the Algerian international had an hour of play to shine and officially experience the atmosphere of Scottish football.

It is clear that his debut was promising. Very active in attack, Bouanani quickly stood out for his ability to make himself available and create dangerous opportunities. His technique, and especially his left-footed precision, regularly put the opposing defense under pressure.

The Algerian player could have even opened his scoring account in his first match. He had a great opportunity but was thwarted by the attention of the St. Mirren goalkeeper. His teammates also benefited from several chances initiated by him, but they were unable to convert them.

Although he did not score or provide an assist, Bouanani's performance after just 60 minutes was particularly noteworthy. On social media, several Rangers supporters were quick to praise his display and highlight the qualities he showcased during his debut.

Recently arrived from Stuttgart, the Algerian player now has a positive first experience to kick off his Scottish adventure. After a busy transfer window with interest from France and Germany, Bouanani seems to have found an ideal environment in Glasgow to revive his career.

This initial performance could especially help him gradually gain the trust of his coach and hope for more playing time in upcoming matches.
