Thomas Tuchel expressed his dissatisfaction with England’s performance during their tense 2-1 victory over Norway in the World Cup quarter-finals.
After going behind, Jude Bellingham's two goals propelled the Three Lions into their third World Cup semi-final since 1966.
Norway, who had triumphed over Brazil in the previous round, posed a significant challenge and initially took the lead with an Andreas Schjelderup cross that turned into a shot.
The Scandinavian team could have extended their lead, but Alexander Sorloth missed the opportunity to pass to a wide-open Erling Haaland during a counterattack.
England capitalized on this missed chance, with Bellingham showcasing a brilliant run past his defender and finishing with his left foot.
Norway managed to push the match into extra time, where Bellingham again emerged as the key player. The No. 10 was first to react to a rebound from Morgan Rogers’ long-range strike.
Bellingham has now netted six goals in six matches at this World Cup, including another two-goal performance in the previous round against Mexico.

Reflecting on the hard-fought victory, Tuchel was notably critical of his players, stating that they were fortunate.
“We got lucky,” he told ITV after a quarter-final in which Norway took the lead, missed a golden opportunity to make it 2-0, had a goal disallowed, and struck the crossbar.
“We made life incredibly challenging for ourselves. The outcome is fantastic. We are in the last four. It's remarkable, but [I am] not satisfied with the performance – in every aspect.
“We complicated things with our style of play – careless, numerous technical errors, not quick enough, not consistent enough.”
Tuchel stated that while he “adores” the team, he anticipates much more from them.
“There is no disconnect between me and my team,” he remarked.
“With all my heart, I am completely devoted to my players and my team, but we can improve; there are many areas to enhance.”
