Samir Salah, the agent of Zamalek player Ahmed Fattouh, clarified that the player's priority is to remain with the team, especially since his contract expires at the end of the current season.
Salah stated in comments to Karim Ramzy on Mega FM Radio: "We are aware of the circumstances Zamalek is going through, and Fattouh feels upset due to the leak of some information regarding meetings with other clubs, which is completely unfounded."
He added: "Talking about offers is premature, as he still has a full season left on his contract. The same circumstances that existed during the previous renewal process are still present, but the priority remains on renewal. Fattouh has 20% of his dues pending, and we will request figures that suit Zamalek. Zamalek has not yet contacted any players whose contracts are expiring regarding renewal."
Reasons for Fattouh's Discontent at Zamalek
Salah pointed out that Fattouh is angry due to some leaks regarding his agreement with other clubs, and that this information is completely false. He added that Fattouh and the other Zamalek players have 20% of their dues pending, and these dues will be settled before discussing the renewal of his contract with Zamalek.
He confirmed: "What I understand is that Zamalek is waiting to appoint a new sporting director to hold meetings with the players whose contracts are expiring, starting with Ahmed Fattouh."
