Zamalek's football team director, Abdel Nasser Mohamed, confirmed that the players are growing closer and stronger amid the challenges surrounding the club. He stated that they love their club, respect their fans, and appreciate the efforts of head coach Moataz Gamal and his staff, emphasizing that everyone is doing their utmost for the benefit of the White Castle despite the significant player shortage.
He added, "The senior team captains are playing a fantastic role, and the club is fortunate to have these players in the squad."
He continued, "We will certainly not respond to the numerous false reports and massive allegations directed at the team's stars, which will never affect us. We are all united, and we will not be a juicy target for some people's narratives."
Zamalek Management Seeks to Resolve Financial Crisis
Abdel Nasser Mohamed explained that the club's management is working diligently to address financial issues as soon as possible.
Regarding Ahmed Fattouh's situation, the team director said, "Fattouh participated in matches while he was not fully fit, then he suffered from a severe cold, and afterward, he sustained a serious injury to his toe, making it impossible for him to wear shoes. He will participate in training today at full capacity."
He added, "As for Fattouh's media comments, this matter will not be blown out of proportion as some wish. The player consistently performs well, whether with the national team or the club, and thus he is under everyone's watch, especially with his contract nearing its end, and everyone is eager to know the updates."
He continued, "Ahmed Fattouh interacts with everyone with kindness, spontaneity, and good intentions. If he had ill intentions, the matter could have been handled differently. We are certainly managing everything internally and according to our regulations to prevent recurrence of such events, and this is our internal matter."
