Fath Club Women Qualify for the Champions League
The Fath Rabat women's football team qualified for the CAF Women's Champions League finals after defeating Masar Al-Masry 3-1 in the third round of the North African qualifiers held yesterday, Monday.
The Moroccan team opened the scoring early with Salma Tammar netting in the 5th minute, before Fatima Zahra Mohammed equalized for Masar Al-Masry.
In the second half, Fath Rabat regained the lead through Mari Cruz Ebola in the 54th minute, and Salma Boukarich added a third goal, confirming the Moroccan team's dominance.
With this victory, Fath Rabat raised its points tally to 9, achieving a perfect record in the qualifiers, thus securing its place in the continental finals.
