Media reports from Spain indicate that Al Hilal has entered the race to sign Moroccan player Achraf Hakimi, offering a substantial financial deal to Paris Saint-Germain.

The newspaper “Fichajes” reported that Paris Saint-Germain received an offer worth €120 million from Al Hilal for Hakimi, who is contracted with the French club until June 2029.

The source noted that the Saudi offer represents a massive investment to persuade Hakimi to leave Paris, as Al Hilal aims to strengthen its squad with star names. It is worth mentioning that the Moroccan full-back remains a key player for Paris Saint-Germain, having participated in all three of the team's opening matches in Ligue 1 this season.

The newspaper stated that the offer, reaching €120 million, could make the transfer one of the highest in the history of full-backs. However, the final decision rests with Paris Saint-Germain, which may choose to retain Hakimi until the end of his contract or consider the Saudi offer and engage in negotiations for a significant deal later.

Paris Saint-Germain renewed Hakimi's contract in February 2025, extending their relationship until June 2029, giving the French club a strong position in any future negotiations, especially since there is no pressure to sell the player.

Hakimi joined Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2021 from Inter Milan and reached 200 official matches with the French team last April. In the previous season, he participated in 18 matches in Ligue 1, scoring two goals and providing two assists, in addition to his regular participation in European competitions.
