At the pre-match press conference on Friday, coach Saber Abdellaoui and captain Alassane Coulibaly expressed their determination despite the three-goal deficit. The Algerian coach noted that the lack of experience among his players on the African stage played a significant role in the defeat in the first leg. "The lack of experience of my players during this African campaign greatly influenced our defeat in Fès. It was a bit difficult because African competition is demanding," he stated.
Despite this setback, Saber Abdellaoui refuses to consider qualification impossible. "Losing 4-1, it is always possible to turn the situation around in football. We call on the public to come in large numbers to support us," he affirmed. This call resonates with captain Alassane Coulibaly, who also believes in his team's chances.
The defender thinks that Rahimo FC showed its ability to respond in Morocco by coming back to 2-1 before ultimately losing. "The lack of experience affected our performance. But for us, everything remains possible. We need the support of the 12th man," he emphasized.
