Coach Nana Kwaku Agyemang is at the helm of Progen FC as they embark on a European youth tour.

Ghanaian youth development advocate and Progen FC founder, Coach Nana Kwaku Agyemang, is presently embarking on an extensive European journey with his team, participating in three of the continent's premier youth football competitions across Spain, Sweden, and Norway. This tour signifies a substantial dedication to player growth, with the squad set to engage in three consecutive tournaments within a month. Progen FC's European venture commenced at the Donosti Cup in San Sebastian, Spain, one of the largest international youth football tournaments in Southern Europe. The 34th iteration of the tournament boasts a record 912 teams from 31 nations, further solidifying its status as a key event in youth football. The tournament is scheduled from July 6 to 12. Following their time in Spain, the team will head to Gothenburg, Sweden, for the Gothia Cup, often hailed as the largest youth football tournament globally. The 2026 edition, taking place from July 12 to 18, is anticipated to assemble nearly 1,700 teams from around the world. Progen FC will compete from July 13 to 18, going up against some of the most exciting academies and youth teams internationally. The tour will wrap up in Oslo, Norway, at the Norway Cup, which is set to occur from July 25 to August 1. With over 2,000 teams hailing from more than 127 countries, the Norway Cup is recognized as the largest international youth soccer tournament. The team is scheduled to compete from July 20 to August 3. Nana Kwaku Agyemang, as the founder of Progen FC, focuses on discovering, nurturing, and developing the next wave of football talent. In addition, he serves as an assistant coach for the Ghana U-17 national team. Progen FC's involvement in these tournaments presents a remarkable opportunity for young Ghanaian athletes to gain international exposure and experience against elite youth teams from around the globe. The club previously represented Ghana at the 2023 Gothia Cup.
