Abdli Shines Despite Marseille's Heavy Defeat

Algerian international player Hicham Abdli excelled in the match where his team, Olympique Marseille, suffered a heavy defeat against Turkish side Beşiktaş, losing 4-1 last night.

Abdli was a key player in the national team's training camp held this September. He also started in the match that took place in the first round of the UEFA Europa League.

The 26-year-old delivered a standout performance despite the heavy loss for "L'OM," contributing an assist to his teammate Kylian Abdallah, which led to the equalizing goal in the 29th minute.

Beşiktaş then scored three goals in the second half, which also saw the participation of another "Les Verts" striker from Marseille, Amine Gouiri, who came on as a substitute in the 67th minute.

After his first assist of the current season, Abdli received a rating of 6.7 from the statistics website "WhoScored," making him the second-best player for "L'OM" after goal scorer Kylian Abdallah, who scored 6.9, while Gouiri received a score of 6/10.
