Abdel Latif Mounia, representing Egypt in wrestling, has qualified for the quarter-finals of the World Wrestling Championship taking place in Kazakhstan in the under-130 kg category, after defeating American Schultz Kohltun by decision.
Abdel Latif Mounia had previously succeeded in reaching the Round of 16 in the tournament, continuing his journey in global competitions and taking another step closer to competing for a medal.
