After Winning the Elite World Championship, Sgati Receives Official Welcome
Algerian athlete Jamal Sgati received an official welcome upon his return to his homeland after winning the gold medal at the Elite World Championship "Ultimate" held in Budapest, Hungary.
Sgati arrived at Houari Boumediene International Airport in Algiers yesterday evening, where he was greeted by the head of the military sports department of the National People's Army.
Sgati secured first place in the Elite World Championship in the 800-meter race last Sunday in Budapest.
Following this remarkable achievement, General Saïd Chengriha, the Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defense and Chief of Staff of the National People's Army, extended his heartfelt congratulations to champion Jamal Sgati, recognizing this well-deserved success that adds to the record of Algerian sports achievements and its prominence on the international stage.
